New Chemical Pump Fluid End - FMT.

The Fluid Management Technology (FMT) incorporates the revised N-Seal secondary containment system. N-Seal re-routes chemical, bypassed by the high pressure seal, back to the suction side of the fluid end thereby preventing chemical leaks. MCI employs a “brake bleed” style valve to prime the pump. This gives operations the option to tube the primed chemical into a containment vessel for reintroduction to the chemical storage tank and, again, prevents chemical leaks to the environment. Additionally the FMT has an integrated 1/8” NPT port directly into the chemical displacement chamber. This gives operations the option to add a pressure sensor for chemical injection performance feedback to a SCADA system. The redesigned suction check valve has increased reliability, priming ease and chemical compatibility.

The new FMT provides operations with a complete chemical leak control solution at the fluid end. FMT does not require an adaptation piece to previous fluid ends so MCI was able to eliminate all the O-ring elastomers in the secondary containment system. Available in cadmium plated carbon steel and 316 stainless steel the FMT fluid end is standard equipment on the new C1 Pump. Additionally it can be field retrofitted for use with the 1200 mechanical, 4300 electric and 5100 pneumatic Series pumps.

Update: MCI Solutions is developing a field retrofittable kit to adapt the new FMT fluid end onto our 34-01 solar/ electric powered chemical pump.
