The Veriflow™ Solution

Our vision is to simplify the monitoring of injection pump systems with the development of our Veriflow™ all-in-one digital rate gauge technology featuring local and remote interfacing. The systems design approach is simple; develop a cost effective, stand alone, easy to use metering device that allows scheduled monitoring of your metering pumps to ensure injection programs are doing what they were intended to do. It installs on new or existing pump applications and can be used with virtually all pump styles; such as, electric, pneumatic or mechanically driven models.

With the use of Patent Pending stroke sensing technology, Veriflow™ quickly and accurately reports tank levels, pump flow rates and critical alarms with flexible, automated flow check routines. Flow routine updates can be set from minutes to days to meet your requirements. Keeping an accurate watch over your injection pump systems has never been easier, our technology integrates everything you need into one compact solution.

The efficient electrical circuit design is perfect for off-grid applications. The average power consumption is approximately 0.08A (80mA). This allows Veriflow™ to be integrated into most existing solar charged DC battery banks without additional arrays or batteries.

Digital Rate Gauge

When users are on site, feedback status of your injection system is immediately available via the bright, easy to read LED display. In the same way our remote notifications operate, the local display alerts users of any pump failure, or tank fill notifications automatically with a quick glance of the screen.

If users want to check current flow rate or supply tank level they can be displayed with the simple push of a button. This saves valuable time for operations, reduces errors, gains efficiencies and greatly increases the performance of injection programs by ensuring pumping systems are performing as expected.

Not on site, not a problem

Flexible and automated flow routine scheduling allows users to optimize data transfer limits when 3G/LTE communications are used. This ensures pump and tank inventory notifications are received as often as your application requires. Of course, live updates can always be requested remotely on-demand, at anytime. We’ve even added a fail secure circuit that automatically opens flow in the unlikely event of a power failure, this ensures uninterrupted flow from the tank to the pump in all conditions.

The digital solution for a digital world

Optional 3G/LTE cellular link includes access to a fully customizable graphical user dashboard interface that includes alarm notifications and actionable analytical reporting to ensure your pump programs are on track. If they aren’t you’ll know, Email and SMS text notifications are sent automatically to a flexible call out list that suits your organizations requirements.

Tank inventory level, flow rate and pump status are constantly monitored to ensure accuracy. For tank level alerts, the device offers intuitive set points alerting you when your tanks are low. Flow rates can be tracked in many configurations, if the volume falls out of a specified range or the pump fails altogether Veriflow™ will notify you with up to the minute alerts.

The system offers integrated solutions from device to cloud and the turnkey layout eliminates custom programming on site. Simply set the pre-configured on board menu options to match your setup and immediately begin monitoring your injection pumps.

Why Monitor With Veriflow™?

Simplicity

Veriflow™ is set to transform the injection pump monitoring industry with its unique turnkey design. Whether it’s used in a stand alone application or integrated into existing SCADA systems Veriflow™ is designed to perform tasks quickly and effortlessly. When working on-site, the simple three-button layout allows for pump flow rate and tank level feedback immediately with the push of a button. This greatly reduces manual efforts to inspect injection systems. When remote communications are used the system will automatically identify and report the status of your injection pump and tank level inventory levels, with a flexible schedule that works for you.

Sensing technology

Veriflow™ in its simplest terms, measures the change in hydro-static pressure in a vertical column over time to perform flow rate analysis, tank level measuring and to identify pump failure conditions. This requires extremely precise sensing technology to calculate flow rates accurately. Veriflow’s™ performance relies heavily on Patent Pending stroke sensing technologies and unique temperature compensation models to assist in the systems overall accuracy, but without stable sensor technology the system cannot perform well in all conditions.

Not your ordinary sensor. Veriflow™ uses the most advanced titanium backed sensing elements available, these sensors exhibit excellent long term stability with virtually no hysteresis and allows the sensor to operate over a very wide temperature range without loss of performance. What this all means to you is that you can be assured your system is using the best technology to achieve the most accurate column level and flow rate detection from -40 °C to +40 °C. (-40 °F to +104 °F)

Stroke detection

Until recently manual glass tube rate gauges have been widely considered the gold standard for pump verification and flow rate detection. When used correctly they can often provide good information but require trained personnel and time consuming manual interaction, especially when monitoring low pump rates. Wouldn’t it be nice if a system could verify pump performance 24/7 with greater accuracy and eliminate manual interaction? Now you can.

Veriflow™ uses Patent Pending stroke detection algorithms and hardware to accurately detect individual strokes during a pumps operation, not only can it detect a stroke but it breaks down each stroke into specific intervals. You might ask why this is important? One of the major downfalls of manual site glasses or other electronic time based column meters is they do not start and end drop intervals at the same portion of a stroke (start of drop, end of drop, etc.) this leads to significant flow errors when daily flow rate computations are performed. Veriflow™ is able to provide repeatable flow rate accuracy to within +/- 0.5% total flow, with a flow sensing range of 0.01 to >1000 Litres per day. (0.002 to 264 Gallons per day). Now, accurate flow rate cycles can be calculated with only a small column drop (<50mm). Say goodbye to long wait times.

Safety

Unlike traditional site glasses that use a glass calibration column, Veriflow™ uses a rigid stainless steel column which is far more robust and less likely to break or leak over time.

Notifications

By now it should be fairly clear what Veriflow™ can do in regards to pump and tank notifications, but we wanted to point out a few more unique advantages. Stroke sensing technology allows the system to break down each pump stroke into event sequences, this enabled the development of additional algorithms that notify you if a pumps check valve has failed or if an electric drive has failed altogether. Unlike in-line flow switches, we can even detect when a pressure relief valve is bypassing. Talk about neat data. These verification routines run in the background automatically without any programming or setup.

There are many end to end communication protocols used throughout industry and that is why Veriflow™ ships standard with a variety of communication options to suits the broadest range of existing enterprise technologies without the need to start from scratch. From single PLC’s to large scale SCADA infrastructure you can be sure Veriflow™ will connect.
